About the Author
Sherie Riley was born in Canberra, Australia in 1974 to a hard-working and loving family. As a child she would ride through storm drains with her brother, sleep under the table at the Chinese Restaurant when it got late and have parties at the houses of family friends. She spent most of her childhood years living in the quiet City of Hervey Bay. Sherie would spend time on the beach and roller-skating, and watching her Mum & Dad work really hard in their own business. Sherie met her high school sweetheart and her rock in 1988 and knew then, they had a special connection, they married in 1996. Sherie found out in 1996 that she had another big brother who was 10years older than her. Sherie has a strong, loving relationship with her husband and three beautiful children. She is very proud of them all and wishes they all have a great life and experience as much as they can. They moved to the Gold Coast for 14 years to better their life. They worked very hard and created great friendships there. Recently Sherie and her family moved back to Hervey Bay to be closer to family. When travelling home from a family snow holiday in 2010, Sherie had thought that if something were to happen to her, her children wouldn?t know much about her. She has also enjoyed writing poetry over the years, for different reasons and different times in her life. Sherie incorporate both ideas to create this memoirs book. Sherie wished that she had these details from all her grandparents to reflect on, their lives are now with them in peace. Sherie will be sharing ?Memoirs of an Angel? with her parents and will be leaving one for her loved ones to keep.
